At the opening of FormNext, the number 1 global tradeshow for 3D printing in Frankfurt, Volkswagen and Additive Industries have announced they have entered into a long-term partnership to additively manufacture advanced tooling and spare parts for the Volkswagen Group. In September, Additive Industries has installed the latest fully automated and integrated MetalFAB1 system in Wolfsburg and the first products have been successfully produced after an intensive training of the Volkswagen team.
