Safran Group deploys Additive Industries’ flagship MetalFAB1 to boost productivity and safety in additive manufacturing

Additive Industries is pleased to announce that the Safran Additive Manufacturing Campus - part of the Safran Group - has successfully deployed its flagship MetalFAB1 industrial 3D printer. Safran selected the modular and scalable MetalFAB1 3D printer for its high quality capabilities, its safe operation and its gains in productivity. The company deploys the system to manufacture highly complex parts for its aviation, defence and space business in which parts manufacturing has to meet the most stringent technical and quality requirements. Safran installed the MetalFAB1 in June 2021 for testing. After preliminary acceptance in July 2021 the company has now officially accepted the solution. Please read the full release below:
