Additive Industries winner prestigious Dutch competition for new technology companies

Dutch National newspaper Financieele Dagblad has announced that the jury of their 2017 contest to find the most promising young technology companies ‘De Nieuwe Kampioenen’ (the New Champions) selected Additive Industries unanimously as their winner. 

Sauber F1 Team launching customer for MetalFAB1 Process & Application Development Tool

At Rapid.Tech in Erfurt (Germany) one of the leading 3D printing conferences, Additive Industries and Sauber F1 Team have announced that Sauber will be the launching customer for the MetalFAB1 Process & Application Development Tool. This launching customership is part of a three year technology partnership between the two companies. The partnership with Sauber F1 Team underlines the ambition of Additive Industries to become a leading 3D metal printing system manufacturer in demanding markets like aerospace, automotive, medical implants and high tech equipment. Additive Industries lands 1st MetalFAB1 follow-on order

Additive Industries has received a follow-on order from its customer Kaak Group. The order of a second MetalFAB1 system, this time a 5-module 4-laser production series system within 9 months after the installation of the first system, confirms the performance of the MetalFAB1 system. Kaak, the market leading manufacturer of industrial bakery systems will further increase its metal additive manufacturing capacity since demand for 3D printed components for internal use is substantial. Additive Industries presents 4-full-field-laser MetalFAB1 at RAPID

On the first day of RAPID 2017, the largest 3D printing tradeshow in the USA, Additive Industries has presented its 4-laser version of the MetalFAB1 system to the North American market. The Dutch engineers have successfully designed the build chamber and optical sets for full field use of all four lasers. This allows the MetalFAB1 users to print large parts without stitching or being restricted to zones. Please read the full press release below:

Additive Industries appoints SIMU as Agent for Italy

On the second day of its Additive World Conference, Additive Industries has signed an Agency Agreement with SIMU, a renowned representative for high-end industrial equipment and solutions in Italy. SIMU will support Additive Industries in unlocking the sizeable Italian aerospace, automotive, medical and general machine building markets.
