Every year, Het Financieele Dagblad (FD, the Dutch Financial Daily Newspaper) is looking for the most promising young, innovative companies with the highest potential for growth. It is already for the third time that the FD, through its “New Champions” series, is looking for Dutch innovative companies and this year it provides a diverse harvest. The companies are younger and mainly come from Amsterdam and Eindhoven. From a wide selection of potential champions (23 nominees), eight companies are selected as finalists eligible for the grand prize. Additive Industries is one of them.

Last year, the biological crop control Koppert Biological Systems became the winner. In 2015 Priva (climate control in horticulture and buildings)  was named as The New Champion. The candidates for 2017 are innovative in the field of energy, mobility, robotics, logistics, high-tech and financial sectors. They show healthy growth in sales, jobs, investment and they have the potential to conquer their industry.

In the coming months, together with BNR radio, FD will highlight the innovative companies for who the Netherlands has become too small. The New Champions are innovative companies with a clear focus across the border. To find out more on this year's edition of The New Champions (De Nieuwe Kampioenen 2017) and to see the list with 8 finalists, please go to the FD website: www.fd.nl/kampioenen (in Dutch).
