Because the needs of any manufacturing operation can change over time, the modular architecture allows seamless and easy field upgrades to optimise that configuration – in-situ – with minimal operational disruption. 

Fundamental to all MetalFab systems is full automation of powder management, including extraction, sieving and transportation, within the system. This means that operator safety is prioritised and powder quality never compromised.

Combine this with our Powder Load Tool (PLT), where powder feedstock can be loaded directly at the production source under inert conditions and added to the factory workflow without exposure.

Our MetalFab Automation configuration enables automated job changeovers, build plate handling and powder management . This equates to greater than 90% overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) with single shifts operations. 

For serial production applications the Continuous Production configuration builds on the Automation configuration allowing the continuous production of up to 8 jobs without operator input.
