We are accelerating industrial additive manufacturing (AM) with a modular 3D printing system that empowers customers to move from prototyping to serial production, and we are looking for a highly motivated AM Technician to join our team.

Job description

The Additive Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for supporting the additive manufacturing operations within the Additive Industries North America (AINA) Camarillo facility. You will work closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to accelerate business growth and increase customer satisfaction. The Additive Manufacturing Technician role is an onsite position at the Camarillo CA office.

Responsibilities:

  • Setup, operation and daily maintenance of the MetalFABG2
  • Hands-on powder handling including sieving, sampling, loading and cleaning
  • Performing system maintenance such as hardware replacements and calibrations
  • Maintain documentation and records of MetalFAB system and facility equipment performance, maintenance and production metrics
  • Implement operating procedures that align with regulatory requirements specific to metal additive manufacturing, including safety standards and environmental regulations
  • Coordinate with external vendors to arrange services in compliance with engineering requirements and delivery timelines
  • Manage incoming and outgoing shipments of materials and equipment, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and adherence to best practices

Reporting

You will report to the North American Director of Sales & Applications

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 2+years of experience with Additive Manufacturing or similar manufacturing environment
  • PREFERRED: Bachelor degree from an accredited institution or trade school.
  • US Citizenship or otherwise ITAR Compliant
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex products and services
