Finalists Design Challenge 2017

On Monday February 13, 2017 Additive Industries announced the finalists of Additive World Design for Additive Manufacturing Challenge 2017 in two categories: professional or student designer. From a group of 76 contestants, almost double in comparison with last edition, 6 finalists were selected.

 

AddLab becomes AddFab and focuses on industrial serial production

Additive Industries delivers MetalFAB1 to Kaak Group for industrial series production

Additive Industries has officially handed over its first industrial 3D printing system MetalFAB1 in the Netherlands, to the Kaak Group in Terborg. This manufacturer of industrial production, particularly for bread and pizza, with 850 employees over different production locations (in the Netherlands, Germany, France and Italy) will use the machine to manufacture the parts for their own bread baking lines. Additive Industries enters market for 3D printing of high quality automotive parts

On the first day of RAPID 2016, the largest US trade fair and conference on additive manufacturing and 3D printing, Additive Industries has announced the fifth MetalFAB1 system is sold to GKN Powder Metallurgy, the world’s leading manufacturer of precision automotive components. Although Additive Industries had already declared ‘sold out’ for their MetalFAB1 Beta systems, they decided to re-open the Beta programme and build a fifth machine.

Additive Industries presents MetalFAB1 in North America

At RAPID 2016, North America’s largest professional 3D printing tradeshow, Additive Industries presents it first truly industrial 3D metal printing system, MetalFAB1. This is the first time across the Atlantic and the official launch for the US market. Additive Industries will start to build a North American sales and service organisation to support its MetalFAB1 users.
