Job mission / objective
The Business Analyst is responsible for driving, leading and bridging the gap between IT and the AI business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver and implement (data-driven) solutions for business improvement adding value to the business.
The ingredients for a successful performance are:
- Together with the stakeholders creating detailed business analysis, outlining problems opportunities and solutions
- Being able to identify and prioritize technical and functional requirements
- Act as is project manager implementing the improvements (budgeting, planning, monitoring, reporting, stakeholder management)
- Skills: communication (oral/written) and interpersonal skills, project management, process modeling, analytical and problem solving, result driven, organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Driving further implementing and improving our ERP system
- Lead various business process improvements/ projects together with
- Quality and IT (Lean, Kaizen)
- Guide, define and support in best practice management reporting (cockpits/KPI’s)
- Be supportive towards the Quality Manager
Reporting
The Business Analyst reports to the IT Manager (including a dotted line to the Quality Manager).
Knowledge and experience
Education:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics / Business Administration
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the area of business analysis, business process improvement and project management
- Familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and preferably knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Navision
- Experience with Power BI
- Background in Lean (six sigma)
- Experience in the business of global capital equipment
